What we do for sustainability
SIKO makes a contribution to sustainability for its customers, for example in the alignment of solar panels, and not just thanks to innovative sensors and positioning indicators. Thanks to appropriate commitment on the social, economic and ecological level as well as compliance with all legal requirements, SIKO actively sets an appropriate course for a sustainable future.
Sustainability activities, energy and environmental management
Certification according to ISO 14001 environmental management or ISO 50001 energy management is currently not planned.

Explanation of H.R. 4173 "Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act" Section 1502 "Conflict Minerals"
As a German company, we do not fall directly within the scope of this law, but as a supplier of US listed companies we have an obligation to provide information.
We have obtained relevant information from our suppliers and, according to our current knowledge, no conflict material originating in the countries covered by the Regulation is used. Details can be found in the explanation, see download.
PFAS
In February 2023, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) proposed a ban on approximately 10,000 PFA substances. The abbreviation PFAS stands for perfluorinated and polyfluorinated chemicals. According to the latest estimates, this group of substances therefore comprises more than 10,000 different substances that do not occur naturally, but are produced chemically. Important values for SIKO GmbH are quality, integrity, sustainability and compliance with legal regulations.
We also require the same from our business partners. We expect them to comply with the following principles and to make every effort to implement these standards with their partners.
All requirements that we place on our business partners also apply to SIKO GmbH. This code therefore also serves as proof for our customers.
