Various measuring methods and suitable measurement displays

Measurement displays are available for various measuring methods, whether incremental, absolute or quasi-absolute. In the case of quasi-absolute displays, the power supply is ensured by a built-in battery, which has an exceptionally long operating life. Thanks to the battery buffering, measured values are not lost even in the event of a power failure. Display options include both LED and LCD displays, with some models featuring low power consumption and high contrast.

Important parameters when selecting measurement displays:

  • Accuracy class
  • Resolution
  • Display format, including 5-digit, 6-digit or 12-digit; sometimes also decimal and fractional/inch displays
  • Optional serial interface on some displays

Integrated magnetic sensors for compactness

Some measurement displays are already equipped with a permanently connected magnetic sensor. This gives you a compact unit in which all the necessary measuring functions are integrated and which can be used directly at the measuring point. In some cases, a plug-in connection between the measuring indicator and the magnetic sensor is also possible.

SIKO measuring indicators have been established and appreciated in the woodworking industry for decades.
