Measurement displays for incremental measurement as well as absolute and quasi-absolute measurement

There are suitable measuring displays for every measuring method, whether incremental, absolute or quasi-absolute. In the latter variant, the power supply is provided by a built-in battery, which has a particularly long service life. Thanks to the battery buffering, the measured values are not lost even if the power supply is interrupted. The displays vary between LED and LCD displays, some of which are characterized by particularly low consumption and high contrast.

 

When selecting the measuring display, you should consider the following parameters:

  • Accuracy class
  • Resolution
  • 5-digit, 6-digit or 12-digit display; sometimes also decimal and fraction/inch
  • Optional for some displays: serial interface

 

Some measuring displays work with a permanently connected magnetic sensor. This gives you a compact component in which all the necessary measuring functions are already integrated and which can be used directly at the place of measurement. In some cases, a plug-in connection between the measurement display and magnetic sensor is also possible.
